cant load windows xp

hi,

I've been wanting to loads windows xp to my pc but it has been inpossible, due to this error (LINE 0 OF HIVECLS .INF NOT FOUND FILE MAY BE CORRUPT) How do i fix this error.

Hello back.

HIVECLS.INF is an essential component during the Windows XP setup routine. It basically creates all the Class entries under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software and HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE in the registry.

Sounds like you may have a duff installation CD. Are you able to try a different disc?
