HI friends,
I am using Windows XP and recently I installed Mandrake 9.2 in my PC. I connect to internet via a router. In WinXP DHCP client is getting enabled automatically but in Mandrake linux what should I do / How I enable DHCP client so that an IP is assigned automatically by the router.

My PC configuration is AMD 2500+,512MB,nForce2 Chipset mother board, and onboard nForce ethernet controller. I think Mandrake is not recognising my ethernet chip itself. does anyone have any driver for nForce chipsets.

Friends , I am a newbie with Linux.. please give me a detailed reply if possible.

thanks n Regards
whizkid
