'lo InHuM@N

It was in fact a Radeon 9600pro that braught me to linuxcompatible.org in the first place, and therefore I'm almost a bit grateful towards ATI that they produce gfx-cards that don't integrate into Linux all too easily as I wouldn't want to miss this incredibly helpful forum anymore smile

Anyway ... a couple of threads here deal with Radeon-installation, amongst those you will also find this one (*** SMUG-MODE: ON *** smile ...

http://www.linuxcompatible.org/thread26946-1.html

Check it out, maybe it's what you've been looking for. In all cases I'd suggest to try an "lsmod"-command from the shell to see if your AGP- and GFX-drivers/modules are loaded properly.

hope this helps
