Hi, I am new here. I would like to ask for help to anyone who can help me. I recently installed SUSE 9.1 PERSONAL edition on my system. But when my system rebooted I just found "GRUB" written on the screen and nothing except Ctrl+Alt+Del functioned. I tried booting from my WINXP CD, it first showed "press any key to boot from CD..." and after I press a key, I get "Setup is checking your hardware configuration..." and then the screen goes blank and I tried waiting for about 1/2 hr and then i rebooted. I also tried the startup disk but I the only thing i get is a blinking cursor that dosent respond, again I had to reboot. As per what I saw as a reply to a similar problem I tried changing my boot priority in the BIOS but nothing worked. Please help me, my system config. is as follows -
AMD64 Anthlon 3000+
K8V Delux MB
1 GB RAM etc.
Is the problem due to the 64-bit processor?
Please do reply! my e-mail is aruwin@hotmail.com
