Hi, can any help with taking screen shots of fedora screens with the other menus, not just of the desk top

Have you tried Gimp?

Get to the Gimp program.

From the menu choose File-->Aquire-->Screen Shot.

Choose a single window, then use the mouse to define the area you want a screenshot of. Or, choose the whole screen option.

Save (as) the image to where you want it. Make sure that you type in a file name and choose a file format.

You use GNOME or KDE? If its GNOME then select Acions from the Taskbar and select Screenshot.
