I'm fairly familiar with setting up a network with 5 - 10 computers. I am planning on setting up around 20 client computers (Windows XP Pro) with a Windows 2003 Server. I need to build the network in a way that we will be able to easily expand it in the future. Maybe add an additional 20 clients down the road and so on. Do you guys know of any good websites or references for a good network setup and plan? I also need to come up with the associated costs for the setup and adminstration of the network for a business plan we are developing. eg... should a switch be purchased for this size of network?...I guess I just need to know what to plan on purchasing.
