Just wonder if there is a way to change the default cursor color under XP or not, mainly when using some forums, especially vBulletin ones, that allow you to change the styles/schemes and such. Some of them look great but the cursor basically disappears and I can't change the color.

I bet this is going to be a reg hack as nothing in IE nor the control panel seems to have this option.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks smile

Stardock has a bunch of things that change cursors, icons and so forth. Try looking here: http://www.soft14.com/Desktop_Enhancements/Fonts_Icons_and_Cursors/CursorXP_4075_Review.html

The cursor colors are controlled by the cursor file itself (the cursor is a graphic file, much like icons).

Try using the "Windows Inverted" scheme under Control Panel - Mouse. This gives good contrast in all applications by reversing the cursor colors based on whatever you're hovering over.

Hope this helps.
