How to delete an Attached Document from a OE Note?

Hopefully it is not a trivial question, but so far I couldn't find any way to delete attached documents from OE notes? Am I missing something?

No I don`t think its possible. What you can do is save the email as a .eml, delete the mail with the attachment and then reimport (or drag and drop) the saved .eml back into OE minus the attachment...
