Hello.. Heres my problem i'm a player on a game called Final Fantasy XI Online. Last night i was playing just fine untill about 10 Pm and then i got d/ced thinking it was just a normal d/c i reconnected and 5 min later it happened again. So i logged off and did a virus scan and came up with 1 so i reformatted just so i could have a clean start. After the Windows XP Pro was installed i put all my net information in and got on and browsed the net for 10-15 min and it stop browsing.. now what its doing is every 5-10 min i'm not getting internet. It doesn't disconnect me. I just have a loss in activity you could say..

I had the same problem and it was resolved by calling my provider and they saw that they had an error with their settings for my line. Maybe you should call the service from you provider and tell them that they may have a problem because you just reinstalled everything and it still happens.

The other possibility is that they are doing repairs or other service on their side so they are disconnecting you from time to time. But your provider should know this if you give them a call.
