Fallout not working on win2000

When i try to install Fallout this comes up "Sorry, this product is not suppoted under this version of windows"

But fallout 2 works perfectly.. what can i do?

i don't know if it will work but it worked with mine,

 

go to your 'system32' folder and find the folder called 'ws2help.dll' copy it and replace it with the same one in your fallout folder
