Hello.

I'm experiencing some weird behavior with my Win2K.

Very often, during startup, it displays the following message (maybe not word for word, but similar):

"Files which are needed for Windows to run correctly have been replaced with unrecognized versions. Please insert Windows 2000 CD to reinstall those files."

Now, whether I insert the CD or click "Ignore", this message appears the next time I reboot, or if not the next time, than the one after that.

I tried clicking "More details" to see what files it's talking about, but it won't display the names.

What could it be?

I've also heard of this happening if you run pirated versions of windows. I can't validate that it's true, just something I've read/heard.
