I currently have win 2000 sp4 installed for about 4-5 months and probly when cleaning windows with adaware or something else something got messed up, the issue is i have a new usb printer installed or plugged i mean now it wont work cause the a yellow explanition mark in device manager on the usb device section basically theres probly a windows .DLL file missing or corupt is there a way to run something to detect and repair what ever is currently wrong with windows.

Windows 2000 doesn't have system restore, that's a Windows ME and XP feature.
Windows 2000 does have SFC (System File Checker) that may help, however.
From a "Run" box type:
sfc /scannow
You may be asked for your installation media (usually your Windows 2000 CD) so be sure to have that nearby.
