Does anyone now how to to this ?

I has put my mixer.exe in the quick launch bar (next to time)by putting the exe file in the start-up folder of start/programs.
But for the moment mixer starts full up every time I start Windows,
I only wanted the icon to be in the quick launch and not to start up.
What is the solution ?

Assuming that mixer.exe is designed to be minimized to the notification tray, bring up the properties of the shortcut you created in the Startup programs group.

On the 'Shortcut' tab, change the Run setting from 'Normal Window' to 'Minimized'.

If it doesn't minimize to the tray, then it's not designed to.
