Sorry for my English! This is my configuration: Win Xp Sp1, motherboard Asus P4P800-F, Celeron 2,70, two 80 giga hard disks and GeForce 4 MX 440. I only use my video card to play films on tv. When my pc is on since 6-7 hours or more the video card command "Play on tv" in system menu (click with the right button of the mouse on the film icon) does not appear anymore and I get this error message: "The Nvidia display control panel extension cannot be created". Clicking on "OK", the message disappears and the other commands are quite normal. Strange is that, if I reload pc, all works normally again. I've no viruses, no spyware and no heating problems. What's happening? Help me! Thanks ...

Well, I have a Geforce4 Ti4400 (128MB, if you're curious) and I use the latest (official 56.72) drivers. With dual monitors (both analog CRT), I occasionally get that same error. I would suggest to both of you that you downgrade your driver versions to an earlier version.

You can get older drivers here: http://www.nvidia.com/object/winxp-2k_archive.html

Good luck, and let me know if that helps.

Hi
I have a FX 5600 with 1 monitor CRT.
I am going to download an earlier version.
I'll tell you if that helps.

Thanks
