Slow downloads and loss of network after MS Sasser Patch

I cant access the network anymore (i think its got to do with the new Microsoft patch for the sasser worm) unless I turn off ZoneAlarm.

My BT downloads have become slower as well (with or without the firewall).

The strange thing is, is that the other computer is able to access the internet from this box (even with the firewall enabled) but cant access the files (unless firewall is closed/ trusted zone disabled).

Does anyone know what the patch did? Did it block some ports of something?
