I booted the computer and as usualy it started waking up from hibernation. Suddenly a screen apeared, that memory configuration has changed and bla bla bla...
So i rebooted just to find out that my computer has lost 32MB ram. From the original 512MB there were only 480MB.
Apart from that the system seemed stable.
So I ran sisoft sandra to see that one of my 128MB modules was 64 MB on one side and 32MB on the other. WTF, how can that happen.
So I reseated the memory and everything is back to normal. How can that happen. This system is running rocksolid for a few months now without any problems. Not OCed, latest bios...
Should I be woried that it could happen again?
What if it happens when the computer is running?
Anyone had similar experiences?

Try it in a different slot, I dunno. It's that or the stick is going bad.

If the same thing occurs in the other slot then it most likely is a bad stick of RAM.
