Help
The windows version of Privateer 2 runs alright except it goes as fast as my computer can. When you're landed on the planet it's fine because you get to go through the menus real quick but while in space it's so out of control that there is no way in hell that you can shoot anything because the game is running so fast.
Is there any way to fix this? I tried running it with win95 compatibility mode but it did not help.
I'm running win2k sp4.

There's a patch available which slows down the game on newer machines, you can get it here http://originalthp.solsector.net/privateer2win95/privateer2.html
As you say you've got the Windows version already, you can pretty much ignore most of the page and just download the slowdown patch.
