I just got a new computer with Win XP -- I had Win 98se before.

Most of my games translate to the new OS, but I cannot get a few to work, including Lords of the Realm 2 by Sierra. It is DOS based, however on Win 98se you could play it in a window (and thus minimize it).

On XP it says I need 256 colors. However, no combination of XP compatibility modes (Win 95, Win 98, etc.) (256 colors, 480x600, etc.) will get it to work in a window.

Sierra says it is no longer supporting the game, Microsoft isn't helping....

Any ideas?
