LOgin Script

I have a login script that should map to the clients home folder on the file server i am trying to get it to work when i login in on the sever with the username it works fine but when i try to login from the client it will not work i thought it may have been a permissions issue but i can manuel map the folder from the client i need help please

where do you have the login script specified? Using AD? One thing of note you have to store the script in a location it can find.


the Netlogon share : C:\WINDOWS\SYSVOL\sysvol\domainname

That may be part of the problem at least.

If all you are mapping is a home folder why not do this using the user's profile?

I use logon scripts to map other drives based on groups the user's are in, but for a HOME share there is a setting in the user's profile specifically for this.
