autorun dvd

i have a dvd cd combo drive. it will autostart when i put a cd in it. but when i put a dvd in it it wont autostart. can anyone help?

i just went back and rechecked with a music cd and it wont autostart either.

Sounds like it's been disabled.

START-->Run. Type "gpedit.msc" (no quotes).

Expand User Configuration (if not already done), expand Administrative Template. Click on the System folder. One of the options that appears is "Disable Autoplay". Double click on it.

By default, it's set to "Not Configured", but you can also enable or disable it.
