Remote Desktop logging

Is there a log file of IP addresses that log onto your computer using remote desktop on winxp professional?

By deault, probably not. you should be able to configure logging however. Look in knowledge base or help files for how to enable logging for this action.

i have searched microsoft and other website and cannot seem to find anything

According to the following website using the ICF (Internet Connection Firewall) with logging enabled will show you who has had a successful connection.

you could always create a login script that edits a log file with your ip only when connecting via the terminal session.
