Hello all,

I have a few PC setups running Win2K, and have recently installed Linksys WMP11 Wireless PCI cards on them.

Normally, prior to the logon screen, it seems Win2K already establishes network connectivity, thus allowing you to re-establish your drive mappings, attach to a domain, etc. In the case of the WMP11, it requires a wireless configuration utility that starts *after* you login, therefore, your drive mappings are not able to be restored. Also, any batch files that reference the network are useless at startup, since the wireless connection has not been made.

Has anyone any experience with these cards? Is there any fix/3rd party utility/etc. that may alleviate this issue?

Thank you for your advice!

I do not know if this will work but it is worth a try. Download FireDaemon from http://www.firedaemon.com/. This will allow you to run the utility program as a service.
