Hey all

does anyone know if the price of LCd's will be going down any time soon?

i want to buy 3 LCD's @ least 18' and a 17" for my g/f

i am sick of these 3 giant 19' trinitrons on my desk and my g/f little 15' - since i spend alot of time there.

or if anyone knows of good price / value LCd's then great - my cousin has a Viewsonic17 and it was very crisp...

Gazing into my Magic 8 Ball, it is unclear.

Sorry... I really don't know, but I would assume they would gradually come down.

know of any decently priced ones?

i was hoping between $400-$500 for a good 18' that has @ least 1280 x 1024 res.

most i have looked at seem tobe just over the $510 mark.

A lot of the reason for the higher cost of LCD is due to TFT prices in Taiwan. There's a shortage of TFT's.
