I and several of my clients have had it. What is the best "free" or "Cheap" anti-spam software for OE or Outlook?

Try SpamBayes

http//www.spambayes.org

you have to train it a little at the beginning, but after that, it will recognise a spam email correctly by itself 99% of the time and put it in a spam folder.

only for Outlook.

If possible, Outlook 2003 has a greatly improved mail filter.

Several of my external users use this app.

K9 (search on majorgeeks.com) seems to work good, as well it's gotta be trained, it's getting 98% for me so far.

So far I am trying something called Spam Alarm 2.0. It works directly with the POP3 server. This is nice because I don't need to have my mail client open to weed out spam and get new email notification. It also uses information from the last several years to filter against. I usually get like 80 pieces of spam a day, today I have received only 2!!! Going to try a few other as well
