So far on over a hundred machines i have verified this. To prove it I purposely infected a computer that only connects to the internet for Live update and pcAnywhere. Infected with the sobig and nachi viruses I ran live update. Then I ran a scan of the whole machine and came up clean. I then applied the update from the link below and scanned again, what do you know IT FOUND THE VIRI!!!!

So for a few days now I have been cleaning viruses off of computers that initially said were clean!

I would estimate that LIve update is about 3-5 days behind the manual download defs!!! It says as of 3 days ago...8-20-03 after updating via live update and manual is 8-29-03 !!!! This is not a good thing.

I have seen this on NAV 2001 - 2003 Pro and on Corporate Edition 7.5 -7.6

go there and download the blablabla-x86.exe file
that is the one that self instals and works for all

when i click the file it says it cant find the file i clicked

it happened before but i cant remember how to fix that

i always d/l the x86 file for the corp 7.x
but im a client only so i need the other file

It used to be that live update was more so in sync with the latest defs. F**king slackers!!!
