where i work, we have servers running windows nt 4.0 server sp6a. one of these servers is a domain controller. we just got some new client computers running winxp pro. these are the first winxp machines in the building. i can get them to log on authenticating the user and password with the domain controller, but i can't get the xp clients to run the logon script. on a machine running any other windows os, it runs right after the computer logs in. i need to figure this out because this is how we update virus definitions. the scripts are just *.bat files. Does anyone have any ideas why winxp won't run them? if i'm forgetting some piece of info, let me know.
