Win2k and the recycle bin

when deleting files from the recycling bin it takes a few seconds longer than it should be. Win98 and XP deletes it almost the same time u click to empty so therefore its quick. anyway i can get it to empty quicker in Win2k? thanks

Im also getting this problem in 2K pro. Iv looked for a solution but so far nothing

Disable your antivirus, and any Norton programs that may be protecting your system. Also, you may want to defrag your hard drive.

Your Recycle Bin may be full or corrupted. Either set the Recycle Bin to hold more or empty it.

Just a couple of thoughts that come to mind
