Anyone know if there is a way to convert wma (without rights management) to mp3? I know music match doesn't do it.

You can also turn off DRM in Windows Media Player as well.

Look under the Tools -> Options menu then click on the Copy Music tab. Uncheck the Copy Protect Music box and there you go.

Yeah, I realize that. I am sure that there are hurdles to go though to convert music with DRM to mp3s. I was just saying that I didn't need to address this.

Ah, I see, you already have WMA files with DRM attached wink

I remember forgetting to turn this off after my last reformat and reinstall and had to rip a few CD's again laugh

To convert wma to mp3 you can use the following media convertor:
http://www.tuneraft.com/
It converts both protected and unprotected audio/video files and is very easy to use.
