DO you mean to custimize the bar or what ?!?
Please clarify this, thanks
If you mean the history of recently visited sites then you can do this easily assuming you're using Interenet Explorer that is.
Click on the Tools menu then select Internet Options. Under the General tab you should see a History option. Adjust to suit your needs.

I have it set to 0 days but it still won't erase it.
I have the 'Address' bar in my taskbar also, all of the links that I type in there just stay.
What app can I get that will auto erase these at shutdown or something similar?
Thanks again. ;(

You can use TweakUI in the power toys suite to erase it.
From Microsoft.
Just search the forums for it, or someone who may know the link can post it

Go into internet options and clear the history. I believe you can set it to clear after closing IE here as well

If the cached addresses are still listed in the Address box in Internet Explorer, use the following steps:
Quit Internet Explorer.
Delete all of the values except for the (Default) value from the following registry key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\TypedURLs
NOTE: Values in this registry key are listed as Url1, Url2, Url3, and so on. If you delete only some values and the remaining values are not in consecutive numerical order, only some of the remaining entries are listed in the Address box. To prevent this behavior from occurring, rename the remaining values so that they are in consecutive numerical order.
