ViolentGreen 0 Posted July 28, 2003 OK. Heres the deal. My case has front panel firewire but the connection requires an internal standard firewire connector. My firewire card does not have this. Has anyone ever seen a connector to go straight from the firewire header to a female standard firewire connector? I hope you all understand. I am not sure I am using the proper lingo. If worse comes to worse, I can always buy a new card with the internal connector but I don't really want to spend the money. Share this post Link to post
Defledermaus 0 Posted July 28, 2003 I've got a similiar problem as you VoilentGreen. Mine however is my sound card has a firwire connection to it but the internal connectors do not match up , jumper-for-jumper with the connector on the front of my case.
