I want to push out updates from windows updates from the server instead of go to each desktop, loging in as admin and going to the windows update website.

Is there a way I can push the updates from the server when a work station logs on?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks...

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/windowsupdate/sus/sp1relnotes.asp

http://www.microsoft.com/windows2000/downloads/recommended/susclient/default.asp

Service Packs when expanded can be pushed out with GPOs using the update.msi

Hotfixes use SUS when the client is installed ... use ADM templates (which are included with SUS) to push it out.

Best part ... its free smile

DS3Circuit, have you heard anything about SUS 2? I thought I had heard a bit about it several months ago, but nothing recently.
