how do i tell if i'm behind a firewall. i can't direct connect through AIM or use Kazaa or any other direct connect software. when i did the winconfig in the dos prompt, my friend told me that the ips of the computers are internal ips that aren't allowed on the internet. i have a speedstream modem model 5871. please help

I'd venture to say if you're at work and NOT behind a firewall, there will be a job opening for a new network administrator at your company really soon! :p
