Do you have the cable that goes from the cd-rom plugged into the sound card? Do you have it the correct plug on the sound card?

Turn on digital CD audio for your CD drive in the Device Manager. Otherwise, if you don't have the cable plugged in from the back of the CD drive to your sound card you will not hear cd audio.

Yes, check 'Enable digital CD audio for this CD-ROM device' under your cdroms properties. Even if you don't have an audio cable attached to your cdrom, you should be able to hear music fine.

hey I have the same problem man... we are in this together!!!!!
My cd-rom in device manager is already digital aduio enabled. I checked, and I know it works because Turok 1 backround CD music works fine.. FOr some EFFING reason, its just Turok 2.
