Wing Commander kilrathi Saga error

I recently installed Wing Commander: The Kilrathi Saga on my computer. I am running windows 2k and had many problems getting any of the three games to run. Using act 2.6 I was able to get wc1 and wc2 to work with the win95 layer. I still have not been able to get WC3 to even attempt to open up when I click run, I get a "VirtualProtect() fail" error. Any information would be much appreciated
