Edit sysoc.inf located in C:\WINNT\inf\

Find the line that reads as follows:

AccessOpt=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,optional.inf,HIDE,7

Delete the 'HIDE' so it reads:

AccessOpt=ocgen.dll,OcEntry,optional.inf,,7

Open Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs -> Add/Remove Windows Components -> Accessories and Utilities -> Details -> Uncheck Accessibility Wizard -> OK

Hope that helps.

Can't one just bring up accessibility options from the control panel, click the keyboard tab, uncheck use sticky keys, and click the settings button and then uncheck shortcut? Or is the above a better or more thorough way?

No unticking all options does not disable the damn annoying thing. I have disabled it several times only to have it reactivate itself somehow and pop up at very inconvenient moments. It's almost as annoying as the damn paperclip.

NUKE IT FROM ORBIT I say. laugh

Last night I was drunk as shit, heald down the shift key to select all my junk mail to delete, got the stickey key menu, hit enter w/o thinking and I was then unable to use ANY keys on my keyboard so I got furious and smashed the keyboard and restarted.
