Install Intellipoint 4.12 on Windows 2003

Has anyone found a way to install Intellipoint 4.12 under Windows 2003?

Is there a way to modify it? I have the Windows Installer SDK.

Didn't know about those. Didn't see them on the microsoft site. What is the difference from v4.1? Is it just a compatibility update for win2003?

Is there an issue that the new 5.0's can't be used?

Yes and no...Intellipoint 4.x supported programmable buttons for different apps...I have use this feature since Intellipoint 3 and now the new version 5 doesn't support this anymore...I have used it for so long that my clicks in certain programs are automatic...There is nothing wrong with ver 5, I would just like the functionality of 4.
