How do you get WMP9 to save file opened history?

I've set it to do so in the options and tried re-running the setup program to no effect.

Media Player 6.4 stores it's history fine, but not version 9.

Which registry keys store this information, I'm guessing:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\RecentFileList

or

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Preferences

Could anyone help me with annoying problem?

Also there is a delay (of about 5 secs or more) when I use the open dialog to open files in WMP9. My music folder (in my profile dir) is on a different drive to the boot one, and the drive is compressed (but not my profile dir). I don't know if this makes any difference, as no other players have this delay.
