anyone know roughly how much hd space win 2k takes up for a typical installation!

about 1-1.2 Gigabyte if I remeber correctly. If you include swap add 1.5x ram to that for default swapfile space.

About 600+MB. The Server/AS differ by about 60+...for standard installations. Cannot give you sizes for minimal/complete.
People commonly misreport size because they include the swap file into the figure.

The typical install for XP is about twice the size of 2k....and XP ranges anywhere from 1.1 GB to 1.4 GB (not including swap)....

Sorry, had to do that.
As for Win2k, I usually allow about 800mb, + 1gb swapfile.
