Guys any way to update the latest firmware for this drive without having to have the original HP software installed? I lost my HP cd eons ago

The setup for the firmware keeps telling me it does not detect the original disk 1 software

Contact HP support at this point ..... or if you are truly creative, modify the installshield installer with installshied developer to redirect what registry keys/files it is searching for.

Maybe easier to blast them an email?
