xp logon

i did an windows update. now i have to use user accounts to get to the desktop. before i just started up and it went to the desktop. now i have to logon to get to the desktop. i`m the only user so i don`t need to logon. how can i turn this off?

make sure your account does not have a password on it. If the admin account doesnt have a PW on it it should just log you on automatically.

If that doesnt work download the Windows XP powertoys off of the Microsoft Windows XP site.

when i updated, i downloaded a .net update, and that created a user account. so then i had to log in. i erased the account and now it starts up without logging in.
