I have a USB ISDN modem (Hayes Accura), which I want to use with my laptop pc. Whenever I unplug the modem from the pc I get the famous blue screen, and I have to reboot the pc!
I have downloaded the latest driver from Hayes, but it makes no difference.
I am using XP pro SP1. Could this be an XP problem?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi,
I had the same problem but with the Alcatel Speedtouch USB ADSL Modem. Before updated drivers were released for XP I had to use the "Safely Remove Hardware" feature within Taskbar otherwise the BSOD would appear with "IRQ Less or Equal" error. This didn't solve the problem it was just a workaround.
