Hi I recently got windows xp, and it worked well, until i got my new video card (Hercules Prophet 3D 4000xt 64mb), i dont know if i installed it correctly or not but it worked for 2 or 3 days, than on the third day i turn my computer on go into this game called counter strike and than it shuts down my game and computer, i try to restart my computer but it wont allow me to go into windows XP any more. There's this blue screen that pops up saying,
UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME

if this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these..... etc, etc, etc.

I tryed to put in back my old video card still same problem, i tryed going in safe mode everything i cant get in.

Is there a way to solve this problem pls!
I need this file on my computer that i cant put on cd because it wont allow me to access windows. please help thanx.

If All else fails, do the classical BU/RF/RE (Back Up / re format / re install).

By the way, those Microsoft BSODs are getting old. Its not funny! Windows doesn't seem to do well or tolerate switching hardware. That's why I use Linux most of the time smile
