Help
Does anyone know if a Strife Windows Port has been made? I would really like to be able to play this great game under Windows XP. Thanks for any help.

Nope. The closest "port" is Vavoom but it's hardly complete for Strife support. This is because the Strife source code has not been released.
What's your problem with strife? If your playing it under Windows XP then it should work fine.

Ah your probably referring to SFX. (I forget about it since it's usually the hardest to troubleshoot in terms of perfect quality)
There's really no way at the present time to get perfect SFX except to boot into DOS mode. You can spend forever trying to tweak VDMSound to get perfect SFX or you can simply boot into DOS and just play the game.
Someday either the source code will be released or an emulator (such as DosBox) will support protected mode and proper sound support to play the game properly.
