Now everytime I load device manager all the hardware and drivers I have disabled have the red crosses through them. Is there any way to tweak device manager to only expand the display to show disabled or problem devices when *I* want?

In an effort to speed up my XP system I have been disabling unessary devices in the device manager, GUI now loads at 30secs from cold boot
Now everytime I load device manager all the hardware and drivers I have disabled have the red crosses through them. Is there any way to tweak device manager to only expand the display to show disabled or problem devices when *I* want?
