Mail info on XP Welcome Screen

Hi there...

Does anyone know why is my Windows XP Welcome Screen always telling me that I have "2 unread mail messages"? I mean - I have absolutely downloaded all my email messages in Outlook XP and I am absolutely sure that there is no message marked as "unread"... but still - every time I see my Welcome Screen (after Reboot, after Logoff, after Locking the machine) I see" 2 unread mail messages" message beside my username...
