IE wont load site if link opens extra window

If I click on a link and a new window opens, IE wont load the site until I have pressed stop and reload.. what can be the problem? Same problem if right click on link and "open in new window"

Do you have another web browser installed, such as netscape?, if so maybe that's the problem.

No! Byt I have discovered that uninstal of DVD Copy Plus made my IE strange.. used a restorepoint in XP to solve it

Copy DVD has cused windows explorer to freez when i right-clicked. it was a customer's computer and i have no idea what the customer did to solve it (that was their problem anyways, the guy was not being nice and i don't care if he had to reinstall his windows and lose all his files!!! laugh ohhhhh...... i'm so evil! laugh )

I ran into this awhile back

Doing a

START / RUN
regsvr32 /u urlmon.dll
regsvr32 urlmon.dll

Fixed our issue, hope it does yours smile

For a solution to this problem look here

download and install mcrepair and overwrite newer files and reboot

it also solved my javascript login probs
