Did any of you ever get this game to run on Windows 2000? I bought it waaay back when in anticipation of getting a PC, which I didn't get (stuck with a Mac), and was never able to play it. I recently got a new PC with Win 2000 on it, though, and I have the same problem someone else posted about: It installs fine, then crashes when I try to beam down. I've been waiting for year to play this game...it's become a minor obsession, even though I've heard lousy things about the game. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

hi i also got this game and didn`t get it too work either on win2000 of xp same problem as you are having but what i have done is i used virtual pc too install a win98 under my windows 2000 and installed it on that virtual windows i can play the game now in all his glory maybe not the best sollution but hey it worked for me
