ok, it has only been happening recently.

I am able to move the mouse around and switch between progs but can't actually do anything - like close a program - do send and recieve - etc
It is as if the memory is ful and i have to wait for it to clear!

it only takes 30secs or so but it is really frustrating! anyone know wot it is?

XP2200 512MBDDR333 memory, 2x40GB HD's win xp

thanks

Event Viewer .... Control Panel / Admin Tools / Event Viewer

Any extraneous processes running on your box? TSRs, etc?
