Have found it impossible to load "In the 1st Degree" on either W2K or ME and am looking for suggestions. The problem is with Quicktime. With current Quicktime loaded on either operating system, the game's install program insists that it wants its version, 2.03 and won't accept any other.

So I delete all Quicktime from my system, get it out of the register, make sure it doesn't exist anywhere and try the 1st Degree install again. This time, and every time I try this, it gives an error msg: General Protection Fault in module QTINSTALL.EXE at 0002:7DFF.

The exact same thing happens in both ME and W2K. I've been stuck at this point for over a year, and finally decided that I'd better ask for help.

Help!
