3com firewall ?

i have a 3com firewall (for under 25 users) and was wondering how i go about opening up port 25 for telnet?

Port 23 for telnet
Port 25 for SMTP

23? i was told 25. i even went into ms-dos (on a win2k pc) and typed
'telnet', then 'open IPAddress 25' where 25 is the port to open & it worked. got that info from microsoft.com

3 com firewall ... heh didnt know that was still supported

All of 3coms netbuilders and corebuilders have been discontinued for over 2 years.

You can telnet into 25 for debugging your SMTP connectors ... like checking for open relay and so on ....
